M is for My Race.
I had to remember this when I felt like wanting to run or ride at someone else’s pace. For example, when a 53 year old lady came up to chat with me for just a second, before she passed me on the run! It is important to go at my own pace and finish the race instead of trying to push to hard to keep up with someone else and paying for it later! I just race like I train and remember that this is My Race!

L is for Last Long training day before race.
We had a good day training today on our last long training day before our upcoming triathlon. We did a 35 minute swim in the bay. Then a 20 mile ride down the seawall. I even got reacquainted with how to change a flat tire! We did a super short eight minute run after our ride just to get our legs worked out. All in all we had a good day and are looking forward to next weekend! No more long training days as we taper down to race day!
