X is for X-ray technician.

I’ve seen this advertised on tv recently. It is a good job and one that seems like there is a need for. I think it might be something my daughter might like. I know she’d be good at it. It doesn’t seem to take too long to get trained and then you can find a job with a hospital or doctor’s office or clinic. I think X-ray technician might be a good job.

W is for Weekend.

I think every one of us looks forward to the weekend each week. My daughter is especially looking forward to this weekend. Her friend who has moved two hours away is coming down for the weekend. They have been trying to get together since early October and this is the first weekend that has been available to them both. I know it will be a great time for them both!

V is for Very Best Way to Shop.

This year, as in the past few years, I have done the majority of my Christmas shopping online. (I am almost done!!) I have found that for me this is the very best way to shop. I love browsing the internet for the best deals. I love that the item comes to me instead of me having to go searching for it. I love it when I can get exactly what I want for the very best price.

One of the best things about shopping online is being able to comparison shop and find all the details and information right at my fingertips, without fighting traffic, crowds, noise and other bothersome things that go with an all out shopping spree during the holidays. No matter where you live, you will be able to find what you are looking for. From the U.S to the U.K., France, Germany, the Netherlands and Australia, you can do your shopping all at one place. You can search for hard to find items. You can compare prices. You can read buyer’s guides. You can find some great deals.

Yep, for me, this is the very best way to shop!

U is for Understanding.

I’ve just started tutoring a young girl. I am hoping the tutoring will help her in her math understanding. She is art minded and is having trouble with some of the number concepts. We have been playing games and doing some hands on things to help her get these ideas more concrete in her mind. I told her to imagine the numbers and their places as pictures in her mind. I hope the tutoring is helpful in her understanding of the math concepts she is having to learn.

T is for Teen Gifts.

It seems that many people have a hard time finding good gifts for teens. If you know what teens like, you know that above all else, they like to look cool! Burton has tons of great gear that any teen will love. Not only do they offer some of the coolest in skate and snowboarding gear, you can get everything from hats and gloves to travel bags to wallets!

Lots of teens like Burton’s style in clothing. And their snow gear is perfect for hitting the slopes. You can find some really cool looking snow boards for both guys and gals. Don’t forget the hats, gloves and boots. The bags, back packs and travel bags are good for any day of the year.

Whether your teen loves to hit the slopes or just likes to look cool, Burton offers some great teen gift ideas.

S is for Start Shopping.

I have already started my Christmas shopping. I like to do bits of it throughout the year. It makes it easier as the holidays get closer and I don’t have to spend lots of money all at once that way. Even so, I still have a few gifts I need to get. So hopefully soon I will start shopping again!

R is for Recert.

My son went to clear his ticket. At the time, he took his Defensive Driving certificate. But he forgot his other records. So when he found those records and was ready to clear the ticket, he could not find the DD cert. He found out today that he could get a recert for $10.
