R is for Road Trip.
As summer approaches, folks are making plans for vacations. And with the economy the way it is, many are looking at staying closer to home this summer by planning road trips instead of flying. And of course with any trip, the right luggage is imperative.
For me, I prefer sturdy bags that are easy to maneuver. I often like to use backpacks so that I can carry stuff hands-free and they are easy to stow. Backpacks are perfect for the kids too. They come in a variety of sizes and styles making them a great choice for anybody. My husband needs a laptop bag when he travels. It keeps his computer safe and contained as well as allowing him to use it to carry other necessary items.
For this summer’s road trip, I need to take stock and make sure we have the proper luggage.

Q is for Questions.
When relationships struggle, there are no doubt a myriad of questions which flood each person’s heart and mind. I have learned that sticking it out, talking calmly without blame, listening without defense or accusation, and reiterating the good parts of the relationship can help to heal a relationship. Though questions will always plague us, they can be overcome.

Which is not as active as it once was. I knew it may not last for a long time. And I am glad to have made a few bucks off my blogs. I enjoy the being able to have a few extra dollars to do things with. And as for now, I will continue to blog for money as long as I can. I like the benefits that paid blogging brings!

O is for Open Mind.
Which is what folks will need when attending my husband’s youth retreat this weekend. This is nearly the highlight of the year for our youth group. It is a very focused and intense camp weekend. The lessons are meaty and sometimes take some reflection before all is understood. I hope everyone who attends this weekend will do so with an open mind ready to learn.

N is for Never Easy.
It seems as if life is never easy. Just about the time things seem to be coasting just a little, something seems to side swipe you. As a parent, this seems to be readily apparent. As I have been noticing this school year, though, things are really never easy for today’s teens either. I have been in shock over many of the things my son has to face at his high school every day. And these are the good, middle class suburban kids! Life today (was it ever?) is never easy.
