D is for Do Not Disturb.

Which is what I’d like to post on my door for a day or two (or maybe a week!) I am so tired and feel like I am behind and just can’t catch up. I thought when the kids were bigger it would be easier…but I am thinking that is just not the case. But in just a couple of years they will be gone and I’ll likely be wishing for the days I was longing for the Do Not Disturb sign.

C is for Computers for All.

Having a second computer at home for the kids has been really nice. Now, we don’t have to compete as much for time on the computer! I like being able to still get online at the same time one of the kids is one. It cuts down on the impatience of having to wait our turn for all three of us! We were able to use the existing wireless connection for the second desktop by getting a USB connection to plug into the back of the second computer.

B is for Buick.

Which is what I just bought myself! I used the money I have saved from blogging and from some work I did for my mom’s office to buy myself a 2004 Buick Rendezvous. This car is loaded with the things I was looking for, and more! Not only do I have four doors and a third row seat, I have dual air control, seat warmers, a dvd player and many more little niceties! I hope my Buick lasts me several more years!

Z is for Zuchinni.

Not everyone in my house is fond of zuchinni. But there are some ways that are more fun to eat it than others. I like to eat it grilled or baked with fish. I like to eat it sliced thin onto homemade pizza. I also like to eat it grated into zuchinni bread. These ways make that zuchinni squash a little more easy to eat!

Y is for Yellow.

Which is a color we mixed and used to paint some of the set of a local upcoming production of Snoopy! We spent Friday afternoon at the community college learning how they mix paints for sets and then painting some of the set. In this production, they are using non-specific shapes to move around and represent different items in different scenes. The actors will be doing most of the moving. We also had to be sure the colors were the same shades, but more muted, than the actors costumes. It always amazes me the amount of work and detail that goes on behind the scenes of these productions! Whether it is getting the right shade of yellow, or finding the right height for a set, or the right direction for lighting, or a myriad of other details to make sure the show is a success and the actors are what is noticed!
