F is for Feedburner.
I have been told that one of the best ways to get your blog noticed is to burn a feed for it. This will allow you to have feed reading services notified when you make a blog post. This is called “pinging” and it’s a good thing. Using Feedburner is an easy way to help optimize your blog. Simply log in and begin pumping up your blog. Feedburner will guide you through the process. If you want an easy way to make your blog better, burn a feed with Feedburner.

E is for Each New Day .
That is the name of one of my other blogs, so I guess this is blatant self-promotion. I enjoy keeping up with Each New Day. I feel that in the teaching of my kids and nephews and bible classes, I learn a lot. I know that when I do teach, I often learn new things. The idea for the blog came about because I was finding that I was learning so much in all the teachings that I do, I was finding it pretty literal that I was “learning something new every day.” When I got ready to start a new custom domain, that is one that I really wanted to roll over into its own domain, but the name was already taken. I enjoy leaning little tidbits of information, whether from my teachings or anything else I do during the day-the news, reading, hearing things-and it’s usually pretty easy to turn them into a blog post. So, though it’s not on its own domain, I will still keep adding to Each New Day.

D is for Disclosure Policy.
I intend to fill this blog with everything from A to Z! It is my intent that one of these days, some of the posts will be paid sponsored reviews. I will always give my own opinions, whether I am making a couple of bucks or not. I will not write something just because I am being paid, but will give my own opinion. From this blog post on out, please know that there will eventually be some sponsored posts throughout. That about sums up my disclosure policy.

C is for Custom Domain which I have purchased.
This has taken some time to implement, but with the help of my good blogging friend Sire, I have been able to set up two custom domains! I am excited about my new blogging ventures and hope they come to be what I have hoped for them. If you are interested in purchasing a custom domain, check out sites like Lunar Pages to get started. You can even check to see if the domain name you want is available and then go from there. I am looking forward to where my own custom domains can take me…

A is for the Alphabet Game we used to play.
When I was growing up, my sister and I used to play an alphabet game, particularly when we were traveling. We would start at the beginning of the alphabet and go through each consecutive letter stating “our name, where we live, and what we sell.” It was a good way to help pass the time.
So today I thought it would be fun to introduce my new blog in the same format. I will be making each blog post beginning with a letter of the alphabet. The posts will not necessarily run in alphabetical order, but each will start with emphasis on one particular letter.
Welcome to The Alphabet Game!
